Unearth A Story: Summer Learning

July 6th through August 1st: Get ready to dig into adventure! We’re thrilled to announce our 2026 Summer Learning Program, “Unearth a Story”, four weeks packed with curiosity, creativity, and community fun. Join us as we explore hidden worlds, uncover new ideas, and celebrate the magic that comes from reading.

Join us Wednesday, July 1st from 4:00pm to 6:00pm to register for this year’s reading challenge, play games, and paint Dino-tastic rocks!

Each week we will have a passive program available for all ages to participate in. These will be available for a week at a time during library open hours.

Week 1: Dino ID, Week 2: Dino Code Discovery, Week 3: Hunt for the Giggle-saurus, Week 4: I SPY Jurassic Jungle

Join our Summer Reading Challenge and build a daily reading habit that turns every day into an adventure. Each day you read gets you closer to earning prizes and raffle tickets for our grand prize drawings.

Grand prize drawings will be a themed basket for each age group. All the baskets will be on display at the library from July 1st–August 1st, so swing by, scope out your favorites, and start unearthing stories that could lead you to treasure.

Follow the directions on your reading log to redeem your earnings. Logs may turned in weekly or once at the end of Summer Learning. August 1st is the last day to submit reading logs.

Reading Logs may be picked up during the registration party (July 1st 4-6pm) or at the circulation desk throughout July.
