Is your child reluctant to read? Whether its difficulty or shyness we have a book group for you. Come read to trained therapy dogs at the library! The dogs are calm, reassuring, and are an attentive audience. This takes the pressure off the child and makes reading fun. All ages are invited.

Green and Growing

Discover how plants grow and why gardens are good for us. We will sprout plants, build a planter, and start our own community garden in this exciting unit. Cornell Cooperative Extension will provide learning activities and taste tests each week at 11:00 am. Each week the program will feature stories, crafts, and activities based on this particular theme.

The Community Creation Station is a creative space, with tools and materials provided for free by the library. All projects will be show cased with Instruction on Monday nights from 5:30-7:00pm and then offered as Do It Yourself (DIY) for the rest of the week.
